The Institute co-operates with several scientific institutes and universities in Poland, as well as organisations such as breeding and seed companies or quarantine and plant protection services. IPG-PAS research teams have developed co-operation with the leading EU laboratories in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal and other non-EU countries, like Norway, Russia, USA, Australia and China. During the last several years IPG-PAS teams have participated in several research programmes funded by international (EU, NATO, and others) and bilateral sources.
The scientific report of the IPG for 2005 gives 8 topics of official bilateral co-operation. However, numerous research contacts and collaborations are beside this official list.
