Program of the speech of Paweł Kaczmarek: 
1. Truths, half-truths and misunderstandings. Looking Scientific Career in The Eyes.

We will try to recognize different shapes of successful R&D careers and its determinants.

Course participants will squeeze their brain cells while making their (hopefully not) first initial career plans.

While being exposed to various science career building realities and scenarios.

2. 50 Shades of Researcher. Knowing your SWOT-s.

Introduction of SWOT analysis and other tools that supports person knowing its assets and weaknesses while planning career.

Current trends in scientist skillset building. What is ahead when comes to job market?

3. Operation “Grantsmanship”.

Course attendants will be introduced to strategy-based thinking about their research.

In addition – which is of growing importance for researchers – good practices and know-how

in successful grant writing will be presented.

4. Researcher! Weaponize yourself with Marie Skłodowska-Curie!

Trainer will try to beg, force or reason with course attendants to convince them that

Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowships are the best way to accelerate your

scientific career (seconds after) PhD. 

Question: ‘Why you should start thinking about this early?’ will be answered. Promises of support will be made!
