New varieties of white lupine and field pea awarded at the POLAGRA fair

Varieties of white lupine KULIG and field pea JOWISZ produced by Poznańska Hodowla Roślin Ltd. with the participation of scientists from the IPG PAS, were awarded Gold Medals at the POLAGRA Fair taking place in Poznań on January 19-21, 2024. NAWA Bekker scholarship for Dr. Eng. Monika Mokrzycka

Dr. Eng. Monika Mokrzycka from the Department of Biometry and Bioinformatics, IPG PAS, became a scholarship holder of the Bekker NAWA 2023 program. Her project involves conducting research on methods of estimating the structure of the covariance matrix for multdimensional data with applications in biology. During the 6-month research visit, she will cooperate with scientists from Linköping University, Sweden. Congratulations!

On November 24, 2023, the elections to the Scientific Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences beginning their term in 2024 ended.
The members of the Committee of Agronomic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences are: dr hab. Lidia Błaszczyk, prof. IPG PAS; prof. dr hab. Arkadiusz Kosmala; prof. dr hab. Paweł Krajewski; prof. dr hab. Łukasz Stępień.
