We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the Fourth Polish National Conference “Genetics And Genomics In The Improvement Of Cultivation Crops - From the model plant to the new variety”.
The conference is organized by the Institute Of Plants Genetics Polish Academy Of Science In Poznan. It will take place  the 5-7 November 2019 as a continuation of previous national conferences.
The last few years have strongly deepened knowledge in the field of plant and microorganism reactions to stressful environmental factors. Numerous  new tools have been developed for the detailed characterization of their biodiversity. Research on the genetic inheritance of quantitative traits is continued with the use of modern tools for plant genotyping and phenotyping. In addition, bioinformatics methods were developed to allow learning from a huge number of generated data. These tools allow the analysis of RNA, DNA sequences, proteins and numerous plant metabolites.
Conference participants are invited to discuss the achievements of basic research and the challenges encountered in application activities.
