Organizations colaborating with EFSA met in Łódź

On September 4-5, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of Lodz University of Technology hosted a meeting of institutions listed as collaborating with the European Food Safety Authority in achieving food safety goals. The meeting was organized by the Polish Focal Point of the European Food Safety Authority (PPK-EFSA), located at the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. The meeting aimed to understand EFSA's needs and priorities regarding research implementation and the opportunities for scientific collaboration among affiliated institutions. Participants learned about the research potential of the Faculty organizing the conference. The Institute of Plant Genetics PAS was represented by Professor Małgorzata Jędryczka, Corresponding Member of PAS, and Professor Paweł Krajewski, who presented the Institute's research profile, with particular emphasis on threats to crop production.
