On 27–29 September, thanks to funding from the Mobility Programme of the Office for International Cooperation of the Polish Academy of Sciences (BWZ.0610.WS.WII-22.2026), Prof. Łukasz Stępień from the Plant–Pathogen Interactions Department at the Institute of Plant Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPG PAS) undertook a study visit at the invitation of Prof. Daniel Palmero from the Technical University of Madrid.
The aim of the visit was to review the results of the collaboration to date, including two research stays in Madrid in spring 2026, and to discuss a joint research project currently in preparation, which is planned to be submitted under the National Science Centre’s OPUS 32 call.
