The renovation of the IGR PAN facilities has been completed: a sample preparation laboratory, an instrumentation laboratory, and a technical room for the Multiomics Laboratory. The laboratories will be equipped with a cutting-edge high-resolution mass spectrometer with MS-imaging and auxiliary equipment and a sample preparation equipments, as part of the FENG project entitled: "Integrative multiomics platform for metabolome and microbiome research with the involvement of machine learning" co-financed by the European Union.
The Multiomics Laboratory performs high-throughput targeted and untargeted metabolomic, lipidomic, and proteomic analyses. Thanks to EU-funding, it will gain new analytical capabilities, including imaging the distribution of low-molecular-weight compounds in tissues.
