IPG PAS at National Science for Business Congress

The National Science for Business Congress took place in Warsaw from November 19-21, 2025. It was the first event in Poland of this size to bring together representatives of the scientific community, business, and public administration to discuss new solutions fostering collaboration in research and development. A summary of the event will serve as the basis for recommendations aimed at strengthening the innovativeness of the Polish economy. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Łukasiewicz Research Network; the Congress was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister. One of the discussion panels was organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences – its main topics are described on the PAN website.

During the Congress, the Institute of Plant Genetics PAS presented information materials about ongoing research projects, implementations, and collaborations with companies at the Polish Academy of Sciences' booth. At the intersection of science and business, IPG PAS implements projects in plant genetics, among others, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Agency for Agricultural Development and Modernization, and infrastructure projects under the FENG program.
